Ronnie graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and is pursuing a Ph.D. at the University of Colorado Boulder. Following graduation, Ronnie worked as a Water and Wastewater Treatment Engineer for Freese and Nichols. His current research interests are assimilating soil moisture to estimate irrigation and developing a remotely sensed ensemble of the global water cycle. In the Summer of 2018, Ronnie is assessing accuracy of land-surface models used in NLDAS-2 and NLDAS-3 at NOAA's Center for Weather and Climate Prediction in College Park, Maryland.
