Leah completed her BS in civil engineering in 2016 from Santa Clara University in California and is now pursuing her MS in Civil Engineering at University of Colorado. At Santa Clara, she was involved in ASCE and helped develop the engineering peer advising program. While in California, she became interested in water resources through her experience with the recent drought in contrast to her childhood in the Pacific Northwest. She is co-advised by Prof. Ben Livneh and Prof. Joe Kasprzyk. Her research includes the application of a hydrologic sediment ensemble model to reservoir sedimentation. She is focusing on conducting sensitivity analysis and calibration considering limited observation availability. In her free time, Leah is an avid swimmer and Gonzaga basketball fan.
