Ms. Stroker is an associate scientist collaborating with NCEI through the Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) of the University of Colorado. She is Leader of the Coastal Sciences Team. Kelly previously worked with NOAA from 2003-2011, first as the manager for the NOAA Observing System Architecture (NOSA) Project with ISD and then as the data manager for the DART and tide gauge data. In 2011, she left NOAA to take a joint UNESCO and WMO position as the Technical Coordinator for the Data Buoy Cooperation Panel (DBCP). She earned her B.S. in Geology from Northern Arizona University, and her M.S. in Geological Oceanography from the Graduate School of Oceanography at the University of Rhode Island.
